Questions about Photo Editor

Can I buy it once instead of subscribing?

Yes. A permanent license unlocks every Photo Editor 1 feature, including Camera RAW and the smart selection tools, on two computers. It covers version 1; a future version 2 will need a new license or a Motaware plan. You can move the license to another computer from the app.

Which plan do I need?

Creating, saving and exporting need a paid Motaware plan. Camera RAW and the smart selection tools need a plan with advanced features. See Pricing for the plans.

What happens without a paid plan?

Photo Editor opens in read-only mode, so you can still open and view your images. You are never locked out of your own work.

Is this the same as Motaware Photos?

No. Photos is the web app for backing up and sharing your photo library. Photo Editor is a desktop app for detailed editing of individual images.
