Plan any kind of work on boards you shape yourself: groups, custom columns and four ways to see the same items. Invite your team with the right role, talk about each item in place and watch changes arrive live.

Organise items into colour-coded groups and add the columns you need. Each value is checked against its column, so a status is always one of your labels and a person is always a teammate.
Switch between a table, a kanban board, a Gantt chart and a calendar. Drag a kanban card to change its status, and filter or sort any view in a click.
Bring your team into a workspace as Admin, Member or Viewer. Viewers can see everything they're allowed to but change nothing, and the server checks that on every request.
Discuss work where it happens. Post updates and replies on an item, mention teammates with @, attach files and see the item's history of changes.
Start from one of 6 ready-made boards or save your own as a template. A dashboard and a My Work page show what is overdue, due this week and assigned to you.
Archive boards you're done with and bring them back later. Deleted boards and items stay in the trash for 30 days, ready to restore.

Attachments count against the storage of the person who uploads them. If a paid plan ends, your boards stay readable for 90 days.
Compare plansEvery attachment is checked for malware before it is stored. Infected files are refused, and if the scanner can't give a verdict the upload is refused rather than let through.
Viewer, Member and Admin rights are checked by the server on every change. Private boards are left out of lists, search, dashboards and live updates for everyone else.
Attachments are never in a public folder. They are served through signed links that expire within 12 hours, and web pages and scripts always download instead of opening.

Invite people by email from the workspace's Members page and choose their role. If they already use Project they are added straight away; otherwise they join when they sign in with that email address. Project doesn't send invitation emails yet, so let them know.

Yes, for 30 days. Deleted boards and items wait in the trash and restore to where they were. Deleting a whole workspace is permanent, so only its owner can do it.
