Your inbox, grouped by day. The people and messages shown are examples.

Everything you expect from your email

A clean, Outlook-style layout that's quick to learn, and your mail on your own PC.

All your accounts

Sign in with Microsoft for Outlook.com and Microsoft 365, or add any account whose provider offers IMAP and SMTP, alongside your Motaware Mail address. Each keeps its own folders, and you can search them all at once.

New mail right away

Mail arrives the moment the server has it, with a desktop notification when the window isn't in front. Click it to open the message.

Write the way you like

Fonts, colours, lists, links and pictures, with HTML signatures for each account. Replies quote the original the way Outlook does, or switch any message to plain text.

Undo send and send later

Take a message back for a few seconds after you click Send, or schedule it for tomorrow morning. Scheduled mail waits, clearly marked, until it's time.

Several From addresses

Send as sales@ or help@ with its own name, Reply-To and signature. Replies go out from the address a message was sent to.

Search that finds it

Instant search across your mail on this PC, with from:, to:, subject: and is:unread. One click also searches the server, including mail you haven't downloaded yet.

Works offline

Everything you've downloaded stays readable without a connection. Write and send while offline; your mail goes out when you're back online.

Safe by default

Pictures from the internet stay hidden until you allow them, links ask before opening, and risky attachments are never opened directly.

Motaware Mail built in

Sign in with your Motaware account to use your @zorbimail.com or custom-domain mailbox. Folders, flags and drafts stay in step with Motaware Mail on the web.

Free, and your mail stays yours

Motaware Mail is free for every account. Your messages are kept on your PC and talk directly to your own mail servers; passwords stay in Windows Credential Manager. Motaware never sees the mail of accounts you have elsewhere.

  • No license key, no ads and no tracking
  • Your mail on your PC, passwords in Windows Credential Manager
  • A Motaware account only if you use a Motaware Mail address
  • Update checks send only the version you have; installs happen only when you choose

Good to know

Which computers does it run on?

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Mac and Linux versions aren't available yet.

Which email accounts can I add?

Outlook.com, Hotmail and Microsoft 365 accounts through Sign in with Microsoft; Motaware Mail addresses through Sign in with Motaware; and any other account whose provider offers IMAP and SMTP (most do, including Gmail and Yahoo Mail), using its server details and a password or app password.

Do I need a Motaware account or plan?

No. The app is free for everyone. You only need a Motaware account for a Motaware Mail address (@zorbimail.com or your own domain), which comes with the Motaware plans; you can choose your address on motaware.com/Mail. Prefer the browser? Motaware Mail on the web uses the same mailbox.

Can email links in my browser open it?

Yes. The installer registers Motaware Mail as an email app; choose it for "MAILTO" in Windows Settings → Apps → Default apps, and email links open a new message.

How do updates work?

Once a day the app checks for a new version (you can turn that off in Settings), or choose Check for Updates in the app menu. It shows what's new, and downloads and installs only when you click Install; the download is checked to be signed by Motaware LLC first.
